OPTILIGHT PVC

OPTILIGHT PVC is an aluminium-clad plastic structure manufactured with the use of prime quality PVC profiles reenforced from the inside with steel profiles. Such constructed windows are durable and their maintenance is limited to an absolute minimum. The material used in the window production does not absorb water, hence it is particularly recommended for rooms with elevated humidity levels (kitchens, bathrooms or laundry rooms).

The window has a large effective glazing area, which allows more light to enter the room. Windows are double glazed. Space between panels is filled with inert gas. The internal pane is coated with a heat reflecting low-emission layer, externall glass toughend. It helps to reduce heat loss during winter and overheating during summer. The U coefficient of the panel is 1.3 [W/m²K]. The sealing system applied, ensures superb window tightness, reducing heat losses as well as eliminating rainwater infiltration.

Window is a centre pivot structure. The main advantage of this design is convenient and safe washing of the external glass surface. The sash can be rotated through 180 degrees and then blocked for washing by means of a bolt.A handle situated in the lower section of the window ensures usage comfort. The window closing system, apart from keeping the window closed tightly, offers also a micro-opening facility which allows ventilation of the room.

The window is closed with the use of the handle positioned at the lower part of the sash. It allows locking the window at three points: closed tightly and two microopening positions.

The air inlet efficiency is up to 20 [m³/h]. It is the air quantity, which flows into the room through the window with 78cm or 114 cm width and pressure difference of 10 Pa. Windows with 78cm width and bigger have in the air-inlet slat 2 openings. In windows with 55 and 66 cm width, air-inlet efficiency will be respectively lower and is 15 [m³/h]. The windows with 55 and 66 cm width are equipped with air-inlet slat with one opening.

Thanks to the construction of windows and flashings OptiLight windows can be installed on roofs at any pitch between 15 to 90 degrees.

Installation

Installation kit with brackets, screws, plastic wedge and handle are included with the window. Brackets enable easy fitting of the window into the roof, and the plastic wedge allows levelling of the window.

Warranty

Windows are covered with 10 years warranty.

Flashing

Windows are supplied with TZ,TH flashings for roof tiles and TL for slate.

	TZ for profiled roofing materials up to 45 mm thick such as: tile, corrugated sheet metal; TH for roofing materials above 45 mm.
	TL for flat roofing materials (slate, shingles) up to 5 mm thick;
