The Fakro windows we stock come from their PreSelect PVC range. Fakro is one of the biggest roof window makers in the world, and the PVC frame is the practical choice here: it’s white, it resists moisture and it wipes clean, so it suits rooms that get damp or steamy like bathrooms, kitchens and utility rooms. No painting or treating to keep on top of.
“PreSelect” is about how the window opens. One handle switches it between a pivot opening, where the sash turns on a central hinge, and a top-hung opening that swings outwards for a clearer view and more space at the glass. Most roof windows only give you one of those, so getting both in a single window is a real plus.
